Karan Kundra back to daily soaps after four years

"Kitani Mohabbat Hai" fame actor Karan Kundra is making a comeback to daily soaps with “Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum” after four years.

“I’m glad to be back to doing daily shows and that too with Balaji (Balaji Telefilms). It’s been a long wait but totally worth it. I’m sure the audience will like the character and the show,” Karan, who has hosted crime TV series "Gumrah" and appeared in the reality show "Roadies X2", said in a statement.

Karan was last seen in Balaji Telefilms' TV drama “Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2”, in 2011.

Hussain inspired Kashmira Irani for comeback

Actress Kashmira Irani, who is making her comeback on television after seven years with "Manmarzian", says Hussain Kuwajerwala, her co-star in musical play "Zangoora", inspired her to get back to the idiot box.

"Hussain is the reason I decided to comeback on television with 'Manmarzian'," Kashmira, who was last seen in 2007 show "Amber Dhara", said in a statement.

"Ever since Hussain has become a friend, he has been a source of inspiration, as I have seen him work like a mad man even today. So many years of that kind of passion -- be it for acting, hosting or dancing -- just motivated me to get out there and do something," she added.

"Manmarzian", which will be aired on Star Plus from April 13, tells the story of Radhika (Monica Sehgal) and Samaira (Kashmira) and focusses on their friendship, motives, dreams, aspirations and evolving relationship.

Ashish Sharma to return on TV in a new avatar!

Actor Ashish Sharma – who was on a long hiatus post winning ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’ – will be soon back in a new show titled ‘Tujhse Naaraaz Nahin Zindagi.’

After playing a dashing military officer in ‘Rangrasiya’, Ashish will experiment with another role this time. According to a report published in TOI, the actor has been roped in to play a Radio Jockey whose daily work involves communicating with people to make them share their inspiring stories.

In an interview to the daily, Ashish shared that he was looking to sign a conventional daily saop but unfortunately that did not happen. Hence, the actor had to settle down with ‘Tujhse…’ which he found encouraging enough.

It will be interesting to see how Ashish, who played an introvert officer in ‘Rangrasiya’, will emote as an RJ in his new series.
