Since the time Sony Entertainment Television announced the launch of its new reality show ‘Power Couple’, there has been a lot of buzz regarding the contestants that might feature in it. A show which tests the relationship and compatibility of couples, ‘Power Couple’ will see some of the biggest names take the challenge with their better halves. While the who's who have been approached, the first couple to be confirmed for the show is television's favorite bahu Pratyusha Banerjee and her boyfriend Rahul Raaj Singh. This is the first time the new couple will be seen going public with their relationship.

When contacted Pratyusha, confirmed the news. It will be interesting to see the pretty actor take up some dangerous challenges. The makers have also approached Affab Shivdasani-Nin Dusanj, Amrita Rao-RJ Anmol and Ashish Sharma-Archana Taide amongst others for the show.

Karan Kundra back to daily soaps after four years

"Kitani Mohabbat Hai" fame actor Karan Kundra is making a comeback to daily soaps with “Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum” after four years.

“I’m glad to be back to doing daily shows and that too with Balaji (Balaji Telefilms). It’s been a long wait but totally worth it. I’m sure the audience will like the character and the show,” Karan, who has hosted crime TV series "Gumrah" and appeared in the reality show "Roadies X2", said in a statement.

Karan was last seen in Balaji Telefilms' TV drama “Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2”, in 2011.

Vibhav Roy roped in for Balaji Telefilms’ next

Talented and handsome Vibhav Roy will soon be back on TV!! The man who rose to fame with his lead role in Life OK’s Gustakh Dil went on to win hearts as the good Samaritan Ishaan in Zee TV’s Doli Armaanon Ki.

Now, it looks as though he has bagged the lead role in Balaji Telefilms’ upcoming show on Star Plus.

Yes, you heard it right!! In the show titled Kuch Toh Tere Mere Darmiyaan, Vibhav has been roped in, and will join Gautam Gupta and Shritama Mukherjee to play the lead roles.

As per a reliable source, “The actors chosen are yet to go through the final mock shoot. But having said this, things look rosy for Gautam, Shritama and Vibhav who will play the leads.”

Jay Soni 'balloons up' for 'Killerr Karaoke...'

Popular TV actor Jay Soni slipped into an inflated body suit for a quirky act on &TV's weekend show "Killerr Karaoke, Atka Toh Latkah".

Jay will be seen in the opening episode of the show on Saturday.

Given the format of the show, the contestants have to keep singing while dodging distractions that come their way. All that matters is how long you can keep singing.

Jay was in for quite a surprise when he was made to wear an inflated body suit. In his 'ballooned up' avatar, he had to run on a treadmill with hay flying over his face, apart from gymming it out on the pull-up bar as well. The song he sang was "Bhaag D.K. Bose" from "Delhi Belly".

"Killerr Karaoke, Atka Toh Latkah" is hosted by comedian Krushna. The episode featuring Jay will also star actresses Pratyusha Banerjee and Asha Negi.

Nikita Dutta turns 'dabbawali' on 'Dream Girl' set

Actress Nikita Dutta, who will play the role of Lakshmi in the forthcoming TV show "Dream Girl- Ek Ladki Deewani Si", is very conscious about her eating habits and feels the best way to stay fit is to eat healthy food at regular intervals.

During a shoot in Jodhpur, Nikita took fruits, dry fruits and salad with her to eat right. She also carried multiple food boxes with her because of which her co-stars and crew members started calling her a 'Dabbawali’.

"I'm very conscious about my eating habits. I believe that healthy meals play a very important role in our day-to-day lives. Also, it is necessary for me to stay fit as my character demands it,” Nikita, who plays an aspiring actress in the show, said in a statement.

The story of the show revolves around a small town girl Lakshmi from Jodhpur who nurtures a dream of being Bollywood’s biggest star.

With a positive attitude, Lakshmi’s goal is to be launched opposite Samar Sareen (played by Mohsin Khan), who is shown to be Bollywood’s most promising new face. But Lakshmi can only achieve this by impressing Ayesha Sareen (essayed by Shraddha Arya) and she can go to any extent to be in Ayesha’s good books.
