Honsla Rakh 2nd Week Box Office – Consolidates On A High Note

The Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa starrer Honsla Rakh ended its two week run on yet another great note, inching towards 20 crore mark. 

At the domestic box office, Honsla Rakh shattered all the box office records with an eye-popping collection of Rs 12.21 crore in its first week. There was a big Hollywood release on Friday, Dune, which has got some good occupancy. However, Honsla Rakh was not affected and held well on its second Friday at the box office, collecting Rs 71 lakhs. The earnings shot up on Saturday with Rs 1.15 crore followed by a solid collections on Sunday with Rs 1.74 crore, even though there was a big match between India and Pakistan. The comedy-drama held well on Monday with Rs 60 lakhs followed by Rs 52 lakhs on Tuesday and Rs 48 lakhs on Wednesday.

Honsla Rakh is directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and produced by Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh.

And this time we hear the lady has bagged a meaty role as the main antagonist in Zee TV drama Sarojini (Rashmi Sharma Telefilms).

A source shared, "Aanchal will be seen essaying the character of Manisha. She will be the other woman in Soumendra's (Mohit Sehgal) life, creating troubles for Sarojini (Shiny Doshi). The soutan will be seen in her devious best."

She will be the daughter of a rich man. With Soumendra's family indebted to them, they would readily agree to marry of their son to her.

"Kitani Mohabbat Hai" fame actor Karan Kundra is making a comeback to daily soaps with “Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum” after four years.

“I’m glad to be back to doing daily shows and that too with Balaji (Balaji Telefilms). It’s been a long wait but totally worth it. I’m sure the audience will like the character and the show,” Karan, who has hosted crime TV series "Gumrah" and appeared in the reality show "Roadies X2", said in a statement.

Karan was last seen in Balaji Telefilms' TV drama “Kitani Mohabbat Hai Season 2”, in 2011.

While the lady is made to dress like a queen with classic jewelry as the queen in Zee TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani she feels blessed that this show is a pre-independence show and not a mythological because of the look she dons!

Drashti averred, "Yes. I am blessed that this is a concept based on pre-independence and not mythology as that is hectic. In this show, I wear decent classic jewellery with different sarees and it gets a little hectic because there is a difference to wear the ornaments on for a few hours and wearing for the hours one is shooting daily. I would never take up a mythological show for the same reason."

We went on to ask the lady about her relationship with her mother-in-law, her bonding with her husband Neeraj and her married life.

She said, "Well when I was dating Neeraj, things were stressful for me as I lived in my home and I had to take time out to meet him and spend time with my family too but now since I live with him, I can balance things better and I make sure I spend time with his and my family as I am a family person. With regards to my relationship with my mom-in-law, she loves me on-screen and off-screen and compliments me when I perform well too!"
